L'eclissi della settima crociata

 L’eclissi di Sole in Bilancia dello scorso 14 ottobre fa parte di un ciclo di eclissi, che ha avuto inizio il 22 giugno 1248. La prima eclissi di ogni ciclo di Saros fornisce una sorta di imprinting per tutte quelle successive, e in questa prima eclissi del 1248, come anche in quella del 14 ottobre, Plutone era in aspetto all’eclissi (in quel caso era un trigono) e formava un aspetto di quadratura con Marte. A tal proposito, Bernadette Brady dice che l’enorme potenza, rabbia e forza della quadratura Marte/Plutone viene incanalata in questa famiglia di eclissi attraverso il trigono esatto che collega Plutone alla congiunzione Sole/Luna.

Nel 1248, e precisamente il 25 agosto (ossia due mesi dopo l’eclissi), re Luigi IX di Francia, detto Il Santo, dà l’avvio alla settima crociata in Terrasanta, crociata che aveva lo scopo di riconquistare Gerusalemme, caduta nelle mani dei Mussulmani nel 1244. Infatti, a seguito della notizia dei massacri compiuti in Terrasanta, che sconvolse la cristianità, durante il Concilio di Lione del 1245 Papa Innocenzo IV rivolse un appello per la liberazione di Gerusalemme, a cui rispose appunto Luigi IX di Francia, a cui il Papa affidò l’organizzazione della crociata, escludendo la partecipazione del Sacro Romano Impero di Federico II, che era stato scomunicato. Questa crociata fu un fallimento; re Luigi IX di Francia fu addirittura catturato e venne liberato dalla moglie solo dopo il pagamento di un riscatto di 800.000 bisanti d’oro, che i Templari furono letteralmente obbligati ad anticipargli.

In astrologia si dice che nel momento di inizio di ogni cosa è inscritto il suo svolgimento e la sua fine… anche perché dalla storia non si impara mai nulla.

The solar eclipse in Libra of Oct. 14th was part of a cycle of eclipses that began on Jun. 22nd, 1248 and will end in 2492. The first eclipse of each Saros cycle provides a kind of imprinting for all subsequent ones, and in this first eclipse of 1248, as well as in that of Oct. 14th, Pluto was in aspect to the eclipse (in that case it was a trine) and formed a square aspect with Mars. In this regard, Bernadette Brady says that the enormous power, anger and force of the Mars/Pluto square was channelled into this eclipse family through the exact trine linking Pluto to the Sun/Moon conjunction.

In 1248, on Aug. 25thto be precise (i.e. two months after the eclipse), King Louis IX of France, known as The Saint, launched the Seventh Crusade to the Holy Land, a crusade the aim of which was to reconquer Jerusalem, which had fallen into the hands of the Muslims in 1244. In fact, following the news of the massacres in the Holy Land, which shocked Christendom, during the Council of Lyons in 1245 Pope Innocent IV made an appeal for the liberation of Jerusalem, which was answered by Louis IX of France, to whom the Pope entrusted the organisation of the crusade, excluding the participation of the Holy Roman Empire of Frederick II, who had been excommunicated. This crusade was a failure; King Louis IX of France was even captured and was freed by his wife only after the payment of a ransom of 800,000 gold bisants, which the Templars were literally forced to pay for his release.
